Bland County

Bland County is a sparsely populated mountain county in southwest Virginia with extensive forested ridges. The Jefferson National Forest covers large portions of the county, providing outstanding public hunting for deer, bear, and turkey. The rugged terrain also supports grouse populations in laurel thickets and high-elevation hardwoods.
