Rappahannock County is a scenic, lightly developed county in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The county provides excellent deer and turkey hunting on private farms and wooded tracts, with bear in the mountain sections. Rappahannock is within the CWD management area, and hunters must follow chronic wasting disease regulations.
