Amelia Wildlife Management Area

WMA · Amelia, Nottoway · Piedmont Virginia

Amelia WMA is a Piedmont hunting area managed for a variety of game species including deer, turkey, and small game. The area features a mix of pine plantations, hardwood bottoms, and managed wildlife openings that provide good habitat diversity. A dove field program draws hunters in early September. The relatively small size means hunting pressure can be concentrated, but the habitat management keeps game populations healthy.
