Big Survey Wildlife Management Area

WMA · Bland · Southwest Virginia

Big Survey WMA encompasses a large tract of mountain land in Bland County along the crest of the Appalachians. The area offers excellent deer and bear hunting, with the rugged terrain keeping hunting pressure relatively low. Turkey hunting is productive in spring, especially along the lower ridges and hollows. The remote nature of this WMA rewards hunters willing to hike into the backcountry.
