Clinch Mountain WMA is the largest wildlife management area in Virginia, stretching across four counties in the southwest part of the state. It features exceptional bear and deer hunting along the high ridges of Clinch Mountain. The area also supports a healthy population of ruffed grouse in the laurel thickets and young forest stands. Laurel Bed Lake offers a 330-acre impoundment for fishing and waterfowl hunting.
