Goshen Wildlife Management Area

WMA · Rockbridge, Bath · Valley Virginia

Goshen WMA is one of Virginia's largest wildlife management areas, sprawling across rugged Appalachian terrain in the western part of the state. The area offers outstanding deer, bear, and turkey hunting in a mix of hardwood forests and mountain ridges. Trout fishing in the Calfpasture River and Brattons Run adds warm-season appeal. The remote backcountry sections provide a true wilderness hunting experience with low to moderate pressure outside of rifle season.
