Pettigrew Wildlife Management Area

Pettigrew WMA is a smaller Piedmont area in Brunswick County near the North Carolina border. The area provides deer and turkey hunting in a landscape of mixed pine-hardwood forests and managed openings. Small game hunting for squirrel and rabbit is also productive in the early season. The southern location means mild winters and longer growing seasons that benefit wildlife food sources.
